Left of the field, forward to the ocean
A belief that was once a shard is now a vision
As little as the world makes of the fire’s char
It signifies a bolder try than that of the black tar

Notwithstanding the fear of others within
One that leads them to do an old evil unmistaken
Where they go for their machines ready for war
Yet do they not see that this keeps them a prisoner?

As ghosts of a once golden past beckon
As the trivial steps become past the reasonable
Men seem to lose their minds for something simpler
To become a mindless life ender

While parading in their clothes invisible to a child
