Time that passes quickly in stages and instants
Why do you leave behind such fervour in my memory?
Here the present is more joyous without you
In this moment, watching every picture that God drew

In harmony with the world and the immediate cosmos
Like a gentle clock that turns gallantly onwards
A masterpiece of a reasoning from the heavens above
Time, do you not understand this dutiful love?

Yet the sea laps gently with the shore I am on
An ocean which I brave to fire my lantern on
I now find my breathe and heart to be a miracle
In the ever passing days of peaceful solitude

That carry with them the name of God
