A torn vision at the forefront of our eyes
Our minds are a confusion, our hearts full of the uncertain
To grasp this essence is the calamity of a moral problem
To not be simply living, but alive and a whole human being
The jungle where we were once prey is no longer with us
Yet in our cities today we are betrayed with vile deception
Our own kind enslaving us in an arcane prison
Blinding our minds, and letting the shadows dance inside
Battles once fought with armour of steel in a crazed battle cry
Now become real in conflicts of words and ideals but inside
It is perhaps the ultimatum we must make with ourselves
To fight and stay standing with a sword forged from a blaze
Aflamed and made silver by the power of God found within
